An ounce of Prevention...
Be sure to acclimate paper in cartons to room
environment
Be sure paper is facing in the correct direction
when being loaded (follow direction of arrow on ream label)
Keep paper in closed wrapper until ready for use
Remove paper from copier before before weekends
and rewrap (This will prevent moisture buildup in the paper which creates
"spotted copies"
Allow the copier to cool off after long print
runs; especially, after two-sided printing jobs
Add new toner as soon as machine indicates need
Clean glass and other machine parts often to
ensure proper copier function and "clean" copies
In case of paper jams follow directions in the
operations manual or directions posted on or in the copier itself
Do not use hard, sharp, or pointed objects to
dislodge any jam whatsoever! This will create a costly expenditure
in repairs!
All personal using this machine should be trained
in its proper use
Remember your copier is a multi-thousand dollar
investment. Proper care will extend it life and save you unnecessary
service calls!
